What is better for UW farming, and ele or rt? And what build?

and is this build still viable?

and im aiming for solo, but if the best is a rt 600/smite then I'll go with that...but if there is a better place to farm for better drops, I'd be all for it...UW just seems like the best place to me.

I'm not sure if they nerfed it.. haven't played on my elem in quite awhile- but you could smackdown the grasps using 16 fire and make a run to the smites with flame djinn.. maybe some skills have changed since then

I remember doing ridiculous times clearing smites like that.. was savanah heat.. wait lemme see if I can find the build on paper.. used to write them down.. before that I was hardcore monk but elem run was just so fast- remember a friend of mine used to farm smites with his warrior too XD

only issue with solo will be pulling grasps in the right spot in the first quest room for a clean nuke.. once you get out to smites it's like your stepping on ants

yeah looked at the skills in the template.. concentration looks like it only works for 1 spell now- I dunno how that would work with grasp ints.. anyways here's the template code OgNDksy8MADyaOrs+VLFJD5B

you should be able to work something out with that.. using major rune energy storage and 16 in fire.. rest minors

edit * works just fine.. actually works just like I remember- fastest ecto farm there is.. you gotta pull the grasps bunched up in sets.. should only have 2 pulls then run for the smites.. it goes fast like that- just took these shots in uw.. it was like riding a bicycle lol

The ritualist build is more then viable.
It's one off the fastest smite solo's around.

So would this be better for a noob to the underworld?

So far I've got the grasping darkness's down, but its a little hard to get to the smites...I'll have to watch some videos for that.

It will cost some plats before you master it.

But the ele is safer and easier. If ur new take that.

I was gonna say replace defensive stance with bonnettis when I first looked at that build posted- haven't run it with my rit.. the elem farm is pretty ridiculous- I thought for sure when I left the game it would be nerfed

it's all the same thing- trick to cutting times is gathering large amounts of mobs in one nuke- remember spanking half the uw smites in 2 nukes.. then the other half in 2 pulling groups with the longbow.. I was playing really conservative on that run and it was probably 10 minutes.. I'll see what kind of times I get for the hell of it- easy way to make money but gets boring as hell once your rich

the a/e plains farming was fun back in the day too.. but still even then couldn't touch this in ectos an hour.. been doing fendi's h/h when I play nowdays

the chance at a dragon bone staff and waving it in front of a bucktooth in kamadan while he waters at the mouth is the only thing that keeps me playing anymore

he explains it pretty much- I differ in the way I pull and I don't use armor of earth at all until I'm ready to cast on the pulled smites.. but that's a good starter on it.. he does alot of waiting around too that's not necessary.. but I like his annotation and micheal jackson while he's bending over

oh yeah.. on the grasps- they shouldn't escape like in that video- it should be one big nuke- if you are letting them go.. try the major energy rune- should have just enough energy for the 1,2,3 cast
